Riverside National Cemetery

Riverside National Cemetery is a national cemetery located in Riverside, California, that honors the service and sacrifice of United States military personnel and their eligible family members. It was established in 1976 on 740 acres of land transferred from March Air Force Base, and opened for burials in 1978. It is the largest and busiest cemetery managed by the National Cemetery Administration, with more than 300,000 interments as of 2021. The cemetery features several memorials, including the National POW/MIA Memorial, the Medal of Honor Memorial, and the Veterans Memorial Amphitheater. The cemetery is open daily from sunrise to sunset, and offers military funeral honors for veterans upon request.
